The Law Office of Robert B. Mitchell is a general practice with emphasis on family law, estate planning and related matters such as probate, conservatorships, adoptions, and preparation of documents including living trusts, powers of attorney, and prenuptial agreements.
The office also handles criminal matters, primarily misdemeanors such as DUI, driving on a suspended license, assault and battery, and domestic violence, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts relating to business, partnership agreements, incorporations, limited partnerships, and property sales.
As a small office staffed by people who have worked together closely for over three decades individual client service is its hallmark. Both Mr. Mitchell and Ms Miller are easily accessible for telephone calls and appointments. Telephone messages and correspondence from both clients and opposing counsel or opposing parties are given prompt response; clients immediately receive copies of all documents generated or received by the office in their case. Mr. Mitchell enjoys a good reputation among his colleagues as a fair, settlement-minded attorney who makes reasonable arguments and seeks reasonable outcomes on behalf of his clients. Ms Miller has from practical experience acquired a broad knowledge of California law and procedure and can both assist clients and answer many of their questions without incurring the expense of Mr. Mitchell’s time when appropriate. If you have a legal problem or need legal advice in an area within our field of practice please feel free to contact us to discuss it.
